Car flips onto roof in horror crash on busy Scots road

Emergency crews have freed a woman from a wrecked motor after it rolled onto its side during a horror crash.

Police and fire crews were called to the scene on the A94 in Scone, Perth and Kinross, at around 9pm on Monday, March 21.

A Ford Focus had crashed into a parked Mazda car before rolling over and blocking both carriageways.

A shocking picture from the scene showed the badly damaged car lying on its side while fellow motorists were urged to avoid the area.

The female driver was checked over by paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service and was thankfully uninjured.

The road has since reopened.
