A TikTok user known as Bonnie, who posts under the handle indigo_child.84, shared a video from inside a Burlington store after her son spotted a pair of Nike basketball shoes. In the video, Bonnie appears in a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark head covering while speaking to the camera. On-screen text in the clip reads “Should I flip?”.
Bonnie holds up the shoes, which are bright blue and orange with yellow laces, and explains what happened. She says, “So I’m at Burlington, y’all, and my son seen these shoes, and I thought that these were some Kobes based off the logo and the inside. And he looked it up on his iPad, and this what they go for, y’all. My son found the information out on his iPad.”
