The body of a woman has been found near a petrol station.
Merseyside police sealed off a section of Gale Road, on Knowsley Industrial Park, this morning after receiving reports that a body had been found at around 6.55am on Friday, October 21. North West Ambulance service also attended the scene but despite paramedics best efforts the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers have reported that the woman is believed to be in her 50s. They also confirmed her death is not believed to be suspicious and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at the moment.
