The body of a woman found in a leafy Sydney suburb remains at the scene almost 24 hours after she was discovered.
NSW Police are investigating after the dead body was noticed near a fire trail in North Wahroonga at around 12.30pm on Thursday.
The woman is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be in her 40s.
A crime scene has been set up.
