Woman forced to pay neighbour's bills for THREE YEARS due to council blunder

Lambeth Council

A woman ended up paying her neighbour's bills for three years due to a council blunder.

Lambeth Council placed Mrs X in temporary accommodation in December 2018 because she was in danger of becoming homeless.

In the contract Mrs X signed, it stated she was responsible for paying the bills and council tax for her flat only - but the building was found to be not properly set up for individual billing.
