A woman fed up of being single created a custom-made stamp with her contact details on - which she could press on guys' arms during nights out.
Melany Lloyd, 22, got the idea after a year-long singledom and a series of "failed dating scenarios". The human resources professional saw similar devices on TikTok and had the stamp designed through an online shop for £21 and got it printed with her Snapchat and Instagram handles - and a message.
It says "I think you're fit, if you're single, hit me up." Melany, who is from Devizes in Wiltshire, managed to stamp 15 men in one night with the stamp and has been texting with some of them since then.
Melany said: "My friends all kind of encouraged me to do it, they just thought it would be funny. I had no idea my version of the TikTok would blow up the way they did."
According to Melanie her new strategy has been a resounding success and her stamps have been well received by all the men she approached that night.
"All the guys that I stamped found it really funny, I'm still speaking to a couple of them now and a they all said it was the best way that a girl's hit on them. It's made a really funny how did you meet story for a couple of the guys that I'm talking to now."
The video that Melany posted of the night has now become a sensation on TikTok, earning more than 700,000 views in less than three days. She said: "The TikTok is still blowing up now, I have no idea why, but it seems to be quite a lot of girls wanting to get one themselves".
