A woman was disgusted and hurt after one of her closest friends cruelly asked her not to wear her hijab to her wedding, saying it would offend her partner's "racist" family.
The 23-year-old woman, who is Muslim and lives in southern USA, recently went to her friend Sally's engagement party, and was having a great time, although she felt as if she was being watched by her friend's in-laws.
"I spent most of my time hanging out with a few friends, while Sally's in-laws kept looking at me oddly from the side of their eye. I tried not to take it to heart, and I ignored it," she wrote on Reddit's AITA forum.
