A woman has died after being hit by a falling tree during wild weather in Queensland's southeast.
Queensland Ambulance Service responded to a call from a Lockyer Waters property west of Brisbane about 5pm on Friday after storms swept through the area.
The 70-year-old suffered a heart attack after the tree fell on her at the property, QAS said.
Crews tried to resuscitate her but she was later pronounced dead.
It was not the only storm-related incident QAS crews attended in the Lockyer Valley on Friday night.
Crews responded to a call after 5pm when a storm blew over a demountable "donga" building at Moreton Vale with two men inside.
Ambulance officers found it difficult to access the men inside and eventually firefighters were called to help cut them out of the building.
The men were found conscious inside and were transported to hospital for treatment, QAS said.
Wild weather in the region prompted a severe thunderstorm warning from the Bureau of Meteorology.
People in Somerset, South Burnett, Toowoomba, Lockyer Valley and Moreton Bay areas received the alert.
There were reports of winds of up to 87km/h at Gatton and Laidley copping 22mm of rain in 10 minutes, causing power outages.
The warning for the area has since been cancelled by the bureau.
"The immediate threat of severe thunderstorms has passed, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings will be issued if necessary," it said.
