A woman has tragically died after she was hit by a van in Leeds on Saturday night.
The 59-year-old woman, who had just left the ice hockey stadium, was hit by a silver transit van near Elland Road, at around 7.30pm on December 10. The van, which was heading in the direction of Elland Road police station, hit the woman and then hit a lamppost.
The victim was provided with medical attention at the scene but sadly passed away from her injuries a short while later. A man and woman made off on foot from the silver Ford Transit involved.

A full road closure was put in place at the scene while forensic work was carried out. West Yorkshire Police are now conducting extensive enquiries into the crash and have asked that anyone with information comes forward to speak to the force.
The Major Collision and Enquiry Team (MCET) would like to speak to anyone who saw or has information about the crash.
