Woman dies after night at Southport Pontins during music festival

Pontins Southport

A woman died after being taken to hospital from Pontins in Southport.

The woman, in her 30s, died after being found unconscious in a room at the holiday park on Friday morning, police said today. North West Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to the park at 7.05am and one person was taken to hospital.

She died in hospital, police confirmed. Pontins is currently hosting dance music festival the Bang Face Weekender, which is being held at the park from Thursday to this coming Sunday.
