An elderly woman has died after being struck by an e-scooter in Dublin.
A crash involving the woman and an e-scooter occurred on Eccles Street at around 3pm on Tuesday. The woman, aged in her 80s, was rushed to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries.
Gardai confirmed that the woman has now died. A post mortem will take place in due course.
A man was arrested in connection to the incident. He has since been released and a file has been prepared for the DPP.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. People with dash-cam footage of the incident are asked to make this available.
