A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was killed during the Easter holiday. The victim was found with serious head injuries and died at the scene in Glastonbury a short time later.
Police were called by the ambulance service to an address in Chilkwell Street in the Somerset town at 11.43pm on Monday after reports that a man had been stabbed, Avon and Somerset Police said. A forensic post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death will take place in due course, the force added.
The suspect was found inside the property, also suffering from stab wounds. She was taken to hospital and has since been arrested on suspicion of murder, a police spokesman said.
