Woman claims Wales and West Utilities won't pay to fix her car smashed by road sign

A woman's whose custom car was smashed by a roadworks sign outside her house claims that she is being ignored by those responsible for repairing it. Victoria Jayne Lloyd Howe's Mini Cooper S was damaged on the morning of Sunday, December 18 at around 8.10am whilst parked outside her home at Belvedere Avenue in Carmarthen.

A roadwork sign collided into it during adverse weather, resulted in a smashed rear windscreen, a damaged boot latch, and damage to its custom paintwork. The 37-year-old has been in dialogue with Wales and West Utilities ever since to try and rectify the matter.

But she claims that she is now "being ignored" by those she has been instructed to discuss the matter with. Miss Howe says the matter has left her in a difficult position in the run-up to Christmas, relying on taxis to get her and her three children around.
