A 44-year-old woman has been charged after a fatal crash on the NSW Central Coast.
An 81-year-old woman after the Toyota Corolla she was a passenger in and a Volkswagen Golf collided on Budgewoi Road at Budgewoi about 11am on April 12.
The driver of the Toyota, a 62-year-old woman, and the 44-year-old female driver of the Volkswagen were taken to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.
Crash investigation unit officers examined the scene, and police on Friday arrested the 44-year-old woman after she was released from hospital.
The woman was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning death.
She will face Newcastle Local Court on Saturday.
Police have suspended her licence.
