A woman caught a Good Samaritan's action on camera after she accidentally fell asleep with her front door open.
The woman, who goes by the username Iamashleychaney on TikTok, shared the man's actions on social media after being left 'blown away'.
The 'sweet stranger' was spotted closing the door for her in the middle of the night without her realising. Alongside the video, Ashley explained: "I've been stressed lately and accidentally went to sleep with my front door open. Listen to this sweet stranger close it for me at 3am," reports Wales Online.
In the clip, the man is seen waving at the doorbell camera before walking up to the door saying: "I'm closing your door." He then adds: "You guys have a lovely night, good morning," before waving again at the camera and heading back on his way.
Captioning the post, Ashley said: "I love humans. And when security camera footage documents the best of them!" The TikTok has now been watched more than 12 million times.
Thousands of people rushed to comment on the footage, with many admitting that their 'faith in humanity' has been 'restored'. Andi replied: "This gives me so much faith." Emily echoed: "Things like this restore my faith in society. These people don’t realize they are the literal glue holding the world together with their kindness."
Tigre typed: "Guardian angel stopping by." Izzy added: "So kind. And the fact that he whispered was just so adorable!" Rich confessed: "I am shocked by the niceness, which is sad.."
Jasmine declared: "Awee this is so sweet." Miss Mathers put: "What a lovely human." Pierced Miss penned: "Right person right time. So blessed omg. Hope he’s having a wonderful lifeeee."
Elyse said: "The way I’d be convinced we’re soulmates after this." Ashley herself replied: "You and I are the same person, cause I’m staying up every night just in case he walks by again!"
Meanwhile, several others couldn't help but point out the kind man's appearance, stating how he looks 'identical' to Amercian singer Jack Antonoff. Stephanie joked: "Thank you Jack Antonoff." Syd asked: "Is this not Jack Antonoff?" Jacey wrote: "I thought that was Jack Antonoff."
