A woman has been arrested after gardai seized €130,000 in cash after pulling over a vehicle on the N7 last night.
Gardai pulled over a vehicle and searched it off the N7 in Co Kildare at around 10:30pm last night. During the course of the search around €130,000 in cash was seized.
A woman in her 40s was arrested and is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Naas Garda station. Gardai confirmed that investigations are ongoing.

A garda spokesman said: "As part of Operation Thor, Gardaí in Naas have seized €130,000 in cash, following an operation on the N7 last night, Monday 30th January 2023. At approximately 10:30pm, Gardaí stopped and conducted a search of a vehicle on the N7. During the course of the search approximately €130,000 in cash was seized.
"A female in her 40s was arrested as a result and is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Naas Garda station. Investigations are ongoing."
