A woman charged with the murder of a 24-year-old man has appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court.
Natalie Bennett, 46, of Carr Lane East, was charged with the murder of Kasey Anderson on Tuesday, May 9, and was remanded in custody before appearing in front of a bench of Magistrates at Merseyside Domestic Violence Remand Court today, May 10. Mr Anderson was stabbed in the chest and leg around 6.30pm on Saturday, March 11 on Carr Lane East in Croxteth.
He was taken to hospital, where he remained in a critical condition for more than two weeks but passed away on Friday, March 31. A GoFundMe page was created to support his family “with any financial help they need”.

Wearing a Nike air jumper with a gold emblem, Bennett spoke only to confirm her name and date of birth on Wednesday, before being remanded back into custody. She was previously arrested and charged with section 18 wounding in relation to this incident.
A 44-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman, both from Liverpool, who were previously arrested in connection with this investigation, remain on conditional bail pending further enquiries. Bennett will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on the morning of Friday May 12.
