A woman and three children have been rushed to hospital after a horror crash on a busy road in Falkirk.
Emergency services rushed to New Hallglen Road around 4pm this afternoon Wednesday February 9, to reports of a three car smash.
One of the vehicles had left the road and came to a stop on a pavement against a crash barrier.
Pictures sent to Falkirk Live showed three ambulances and a number of cops at the scene.
The front of all cars involved were badly crushed at the front.
Police Scotland have since confirmed that a woman and three children are being treated at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
The extent of their injuries are not known at this stage though.
A force spokesperson said: "A woman and three children were taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment."
No information has been released on their condition.
