A woman has died in hospital four days after being rescued from a horror fire in Kensington High Street.
The 95-year-old was found by firefighters in the hallway outside her sixth-floor flat.
Firefighters had to use breathing apparatus to enter the burning building to get to her on February 6.
She was taken to hospital where she died on Thursday, February 10.
The fire sparked a warning from the London Fire Brigade after it was revealed there had been no working smoke alarm.
Scotland Yard confirmed the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
A LFB spokesperson said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a flat fire on Kensington High Street.
“Most of a flat on the sixth floor of the seven-storey building was damaged by the fire.
“The Brigade was called at 1.43pm and the fire was under control by 3.03pm.
“Fire crews from Hammersmith, Fulham, Chelsea and Chiswick fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.”
