A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died from serious injuries in Warrington.

Billy Moore, 31, died in hospital following an alleged incident in Yardley Avenue on Thursday night (December 22). A 44-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder and is in custody, Cheshire Police confirmed.

Detectives are now appealing for information to help with their investigation. "Emergency services were called at around 10.44pm on Thursday 22 December to an address in Yardley Avenue in Bewsey and Whitecross following reports that a man had sustained serious injuries," a force spokesman said.
