
A 28-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a man was found unresponsive in a Lowestoft park.
Suffolk Police said officers were called to Sparrow’s Nest Gardens at 10.13pm on Friday where they found 54-year-old Gary Grant. He was later declared dead.
Amber Stebbings, 28, of no fixed address, was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with murder.
She has been remanded in custody to appear before Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Suffolk Police said it was treating the case as an isolated incident and both people were understood to be known to each other.
Mr Grant’s family members are being supported by specialist officers.
