Wolves take another dig at Arsenal after Ian Wright's brutal response to Ruben Neves

Wolves have taken another subtle swipe at Arsenal after Ruben Neves criticised the Gunners' 'over the top' celebrations at Molineux.

Ruben Neves hit out at Mikel Arteta's men after their 1-0 defeat against the north Londoners as the midfielder said they had celebrated as if they had won the Premier League.

Ian Wright laughed off those comments as he posted a picture of himself walking in London with the caption ‘still celebrating’.

And now the Midlands club have taken another dig at Arsenal following their impressive 2-0 win over Tottenham at the weekend.

Wolves posted a video on Twitter of their players going over and applauding the away fans with the caption: “Celebrating the right way”.

Were Arsenal's celebrations against Wolves slightly over the top? Comment below

Neves, who has been linked with a big-money move to the Emirates, claimed he had never seen Arsenal celebrate in that manner in over a decade as he reflected on Wolves' defeat against the Gunners.

He said: "We did well but we are struggling to score goals and conceding a lot on set-pieces.

"With their goal there is some doubt about whether it was a foul or not but that’s football. We are used to these decisions.

"We need to improve a lot on scoring goals because we are creating chances but we’re not good enough in that part of the game.

"I can accept the decision about their goal but in some games they give it and in some games they don’t. They need to do the same decisions in every game because it’s frustrating for us.

"We saw the way they celebrated the win and that shows the level we are. I didn’t see Arsenal celebrating like this in the past 10 years – it was like they won the league."

Conor Coady also admitted the Wolves dressing room didn't appreciate Arsenal's celebrations at full-time.

Speaking with BBC Radio 5 Live, he said: “We’ve seen them [the celebrations], we heard them. We’ve obviously seen the whole thing, I know Ruben has obviously spoken out after it.

“They celebrated quite hard, didn’t they? It probably obviously shows how big the game was to them, and to us – it was big to us as well.

“Listen, we spoke about it all week, we prepared right, we made sure we were ready and I actually thought we played quite well if I’m being honest.

“We had the ball, we created different things, but listen Arsenal are a top side.

“So we’ve seen the celebrations, I’ll be honest with you, from our point of view, we really didn’t like them.”
