Wolverhampton Wanderers are sweating on the fitness of four key players ahead of facing Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
Joao Moutinho, Daniel Podence and Diego Costa all missed Wolves' FA Cup tie at Liverpool on Saturday after picking up knocks last week, while Rayan Ait-Nouri was substituted in the second half at Anfield. Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui has revealed all four players are doubts for the match at the City Ground on Wednesday.
“Maybe someone can be ready,” said Lopetegui. “We are going to check tomorrow because at the moment we don’t have 100 percent guarantee that they are going to be ready.”

On Ait-Nouri, Lopetegui added: “He’s another player we are waiting for. We have three or four players before and after the match.
“It was a demanding match physically against Liverpool and some players we need to wait a little bit more for to know about little injuries. It’s not the best way (to prepare), but the most important thing is tomorrow’s match. We have the possibility to play for a semi-final in the Carabao Cup.”
