The Tesla and SpaceX CEO replied to a viral graphic of his earlier quote, “I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus,” with the line, “The woke mind virus killed my son.” The post quickly spread across the platform and drew huge engagement, with supporters praising Musk for speaking bluntly and critics saying the language was inflammatory. Musk’s remarks were widely read as a reference to his long-running dispute over gender transition ideology and his strained relationship with his transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, formerly known as Xavier.
