BALTIMORE — Ravens backup quarterback Tyler Huntley is set to start Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after injured starter Lamar Jackson missed the week of practice.
“It looks like it’s going to be Tyler on Sunday,” coach John Harbaugh said after practice Friday.
Jackson, who hurt his knee in Sunday’s win over the Denver Broncos, was listed as doubtful on the team’s injury report, while cornerback Daryl Worley (hamstring) was ruled out.
Huntley went 1-3 as a starter after replacing an injured Jackson last year. In three quarters of work against Denver, he finished 27-for-32 passing for 187 yards and an interception. He also had 10 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown.
“We’re always talking, I’m not going to lie to you,” Huntley said Friday of Jackson. “That’s my boy. He’s probably going to call me by the time we get out of here and go home. So I’m always talking to him.”
Left tackle Ronnie Stanley is expected to play for the first time since injuring his ankle in a Week 11 win over the Carolina Panthers. He was a full participant in practice Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and missed Friday’s workout to rest, but wasn’t listed with an injury designation afterward.
Right guard Kevin Zeitler (knee), who returned to practice Friday as a limited participant after missing Wednesday and Thursday’s sessions, was listed as questionable. He’s started all 13 games for the Ravens this season and hasn’t missed a snap on offense.
Four other Ravens are questionable: offensive lineman Patrick Mekari (toe), inside linebackers Patrick Queen (thigh) and Kristian Welch (concussion) and outside linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips. All were full participants in practice Friday, indicating they’re on track to play Sunday.
Three Steelers starters were listed as questionable: starting wide receiver Diontae Johnson (hip), starting outside linebacker T.J. Watt (ribs) and reserve outside linebacker Malik Reed (back). Johnson and Watt were limited Friday, while Reed was a full participant.
