With KBC promo, Sony trolls channels’ claims about GPS chip in Rs 2,000 notes

The iconic take on demonetisation by Zee News editor Sudhir Chaudhary and Aaj Tak's Sweta Singh was brought back to public memory over the weekend, thanks to Amitabh Bachchan and a tweet by Sony TV.

Following the demonetisation move in 2016, Zee News and Aaj Tak anchors had fueled rumours about GPS trackers on the new currency notes to tackle the menace of black money.
