Rushad Rana, who is currently a part of Kumkum Bhagya, feels that after doing the daily soap Anupamaa, his life has taken a new turn on the professional and personal front. The Hip Hip Hurray actor says, “I feel that Anupamaa has been a lucky show for me. After doing it, I got some good projects. The character in the show was such that people got to see me doing something which I had never done earlier. People started noticing me and it served as a comeback vehicle for me.”
Rushad is in a happy space on the personal front, too. The actor has found love and is in a relationship with the creative director of Anupamaa, Ketaki Walawalkar. Rushad met Ketaki on the sets of the show in August 2020. He says, “Ketki and I didn’t start dating when I was doing the show because of my professional ethics, I don’t date anyone on the sets. In December last year we met through a dating app and that’s how we connected. Managing time between us is tricky, but the onus is on her because she is busier than me. Yet, she finds time to meet and sometimes we just meet near my house for a few minutes.”
