Wisconsin has taken legal action against three individuals closely associated with former President Donald Trump for their alleged involvement in attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. The accused individuals are Kenneth Chesbrough, a right-wing attorney, Jim Troupas, a former lawyer for Trump, and Michael Roman, a former official of the Trump campaign.
The charges brought against them include a single felony charge of forgery. Forgery is a serious offense in Wisconsin and carries significant penalties. If convicted, the accused could face a fine of up to $10,000, imprisonment for up to six years, or both.
