A popular music event is making its much anticipated return this weekend and tickets are selling fast.
Summer Pops at Parkgate Chester will take over the banks of the River Dee for Marquee Week at The Neston Club. On Friday, July 8 the venue will welcome a variety of lauded musicians to delight the crowds. The event will be headlined by internationally renowned group Hue & Cry.
The award-winning and bestselling duo, made up of brothers Patrick and Gregory Kane, took the music scene by storm in the 80s, after their first single 'Labour of Love' made the top 10 in 1987. Hue & Cry went on to enjoy a series of hits, including 'Looking for Linda' and 'Violently' which featured among their successful album releases during the decade.
