There’s a garden centre half an hour from Liverpool that turns into a winter wonderland at this time of year and shoppers can’t get enough.
Bents Garden and Home is just off the East Lancs road in Glazebury, near Warrington, and gets so busy at weekends, people end up queuing to get in the car park. Once inside, it’s easy to see why it’s so popular, with thousands of Christmas decorations to choose from, twinkling lights, home inspiration and an impressive winter food market.
I visited with my family last weekend, arriving at around 11.45am on Sunday to find a fairly large queue just to get into the car park. Considering the shop had only been open for just over an hour, it showed just how popular it is at this time of year.
