Love Island contestant Haris Namani has been accused by an influencer of dumping her to go on the show.
The TV salesman, from Doncaster, said he has "never found love" and hopes entering the villa will help him find the "right one". He added: "I've never taken a girl home, I'm not going to say I've fallen in love until I've taken them to meet my mum and dad or sisters and brother."
After being announced as part of the ITV dating shows 2023 line-up, Haris' alleged ex Courtney Hodgson accused him of dumping her to join the show. Model Courtney has claimed the contestant, who hails from Doncaster, is the 'biggest game player'.
After his picture was released on Love Island's official Instagram page, she took to the comment section to call him out. “We were only at winter wonderland six weeks ago together with my family," she said.
In another comment, she added: “Biggest game player going, leaving me for a TV show and I called it from the second he left me.”
There are no pictures of the duo together on their Instagram pages, but they were seen at the same STK event in September.
The confirmed stars include Olivia Hawkins, Shaq Muhammad, Tanyel Revan, Will Young, Anna-May Robey, Ron Hall, Lana Jenkins, Kai Fagan, and Tanya Manhenga.
Winter Love Island is set to begin on Monday, January 16, 2023. The show will air on ITV2 and ITV Hub at 9pm.
