Three EuroMillions players in Galway, Tipperary and Wicklow are celebrating today after winning a combined €1.3m in Friday night's EuroMillions draw.
The main draw saw a Wicklow player match five numbers and one lucky star to win a massive €318,087. The Garden of Ireland winner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket at The Gem on Quinsborough Road in Bray on the day of the draw.
Bonnie Chen, owner of The Gem, was thrilled to get the good news: “We’re a busy shop here on Quinsborough Road with lots of locals coming into us regularly as well as people passing through the town. I took over the shop in 2019 and this is the biggest prize that we’ve sold so it’s definitely exciting! There are 7 of us here on the team so I can’t wait to tell the rest of the staff – they will be delighted when they hear the news. Hopefully the winner checks their ticket soon to see how much it’s actually worth,” she said.
