Sports fans are in with a chance to winning an "unforgettable" prize in a Big Day Out in Notts auction launched by two Nottinghamshire bars. There's tickets to two big sporting events to be won in the online auction.
Southbank City, in Friar Lane, Nottingham, and The William Gunn, in Radcliffe Road, West Bridgford, have set up the auction in support of the charity Footprints Nottingham. Saturday February 18 is the "big day."
The highest bidder will win:
● 2 tickets to the premier league match between Nottingham Forest and Manchester City (3pm KO).
● Lunch and 2 drinks at The William Gunn, the perfect spot to enjoy a pre-match meal and atmosphere.
● 2 tickets to Leigh Wood vs Mauricio Lara, the highly anticipated fight at the Motorpoint Arena.
● 2 beers at Southbank, the ideal venue to enjoy a drink before the fight.

Proceeds from the competition will go to Footprints Nottingham, a small charity that supports babies and pre-school children with conditions such as cerebral palsy that cause motor disorders or motor development delay. They also run projects to help children with Down’s syndrome improve their skills in all areas of early development, including motor skills and communication.
"We are thrilled to be able to offer this incredible day to the highest bidder while also supporting a great cause," said Tom Holodynsky, Southbank City director. "We’ve been working with Footprints for a while now and the work they do is quite phenomenal, giving children in Nottingham and their families fantastic support.”
Bids can be placed through Southbank City's website, southbankcity.co.uk/BigDay, up until February 10.
