A fast-growing digital agency in Wiltshire has said it will hit a £1m turnover target a year early after buying up a competitor.
Milk and Tweed, which creates websites, logos and brand designs for businesses, has acquired Brighton-based counterpart Huxley for an undisclosed sum.
The company, which has its head office at the Avon Reach office development in Chippenham, merged with Boson Media in 2020 before buying out its partner firm to create one business a year later.

At the time of the buyout, bosses said the expanding firm was hoping to hit a seven-figure turnover within the next three years.
Milk and Tweed, which employs 15 staff, said it was on course for a £750,000 turnover this year,- while Huxley, which had a head count of four, was expecting to turn over £340,000.
Creative director Jake Jeffries said the agreement would boost both businesses by adding skills and experience.
Mr Jeffries said: “It’s really exciting for both us and Huxley,” he said. “It’s a really good fit from both the customers and businesses’ point of view, because we can now offer some of their customers our services such as digital marketing and we will be inheriting technical web skills that will add to our offer.
“Huxley also appeals to me because of its location, Brighton is a vibrant, affluent area that is close to London but also not too far from us.”
Mr Jeffries added that it was “crazy” that Milk and Tweed was on track to reach its turnover target within two years, adding: “We are coming off the back of a record breaking month and our best ever quarter so it’s a really good time to be doing this.
“There’s a lot of competition in the Brighton area but we hold our own in a very strong marketplace around Bristol and Bath. We have really talented people at both offices and the acquisition offers a lot of opportunity for development with staff being able to work in Chippenham or Brighton.”
The Sussex agency’s managing director Dom Huxley, who launched the business in 2015, will stay on in a consultant role.
