Willie Miller couldn't conceal his Aberdeen loyalties in yesterday's dramatic 3-2 loss to Rangers in the Scottish Premiership as the Dons conceded twice in stoppage time to surrender a hard-fought victory.
Superb goals from Duk and Leighton Clarkson either side of half-time cancelled out Fashion Sakala's early opener as Jim Goodwin looked to hand Michael Beale his first loss in just his second competitive game as Rangers boss. As time trickled down, the Dons - who would have extended the gap between fourth-placed Hearts to four points with a win - decided to sit back, allowing Rangers to put the pressure on.
That finally told when keeper Kelle Roos spilled a shot straight into the path of an alert Scott Arfield, with the former Canada international equalising in the 95th minute - and he wasn't done there, capitalising on some abhorrent Aberdeen defending to volley the skim over the head of Roos with 97 minutes on the clock to send the travelling contingent wild. And Miller, who was on the commentary for the game on BBC, could not quite believe his eyes after watching Goodwin's men self-implode for the second time in four days after a late loss to Celtic on Saturday.
BBC commentator Liam McLeod remarked on the drama of the winner, saying: "Tillman, drags the ball back on to the left, swivels back towards the byline, crosses in, headed back across - chance! Goal, Rangers!"
And it was here where Miller forgot to show his unbiased side - instead showing his disgust at the late winner, yelling: "Aww naw! Unbelievable!"
The result leaves Aberdeen third, though Hearts, Livingston and St Mirren can all overtake them if they win their games in hand.
