Willie Collum will be back in the middle this weekend as he takes charge of Queen's Park vs Cove Rangers in the Scottish Championship.
The whistler was under-fire from both Rangers and Hibs following their weekend clash at Easter Road on Saturday lunchtime. John Lundstram and Alfredo Morelos were both sent packing with the visitors reduced to nine men for the final 15 minutes of the game while leading 2-1. Lee Johnson's men grabbed a last-gasp leveller in added-time to grab a share of the spoils thanks to Josh Campbell's strike. The Light Blues have since appealed Lundstram's red card over 'wrongful dismissal' and also raised concerns over the 'competency' of Collum.
Edinburgh Evening News also reported that the Hibees raised concerns with head of refereeing Crawford Allan with one main issue said to be highlighted by the capital club coming in the form of the penalty decisions. Antonio Colak was awarded a spot-kick after a tug from Rocky Bushiri, that James Tavernier converted on the stroke of half-time. Bushiri himself was hauled down by the Rangers skipper but play was waved on.
Collum will take charge of the battle between the Scottish Championship new boys this weekend. He will be assisted by Michael Banks and Paul McAvinue.
Owen Coyle's men head into the encounter on the back of two wins and seven points from their first four games in Scotland's second tier.
