Liverpool are nearing a return to Premier League action as they take on Manchester City this weekend.
The Reds are battling for a place in the top four and are currently seven points adrift with 12 Premier League fixtures left to play. After taking on Man City, Liverpool then face matches against Chelsea and then Arsenal all within the space of eight days.
Jurgen Klopp is dealing with a number of injury issues as the international break nears its conclusion. And it seems that Arsenal themselves also have some concerns with the clash at Anfield on the horizon.

Liverpool take on Arsenal on April 9. Here is a look at how Mikel Arteta’s squad is looking on the injury front a little over a week out from the match.
William Saliba injury latest
Arsenal defender William Saliba has been suffering with a back injury in recent weeks. The centre-back has started in all but one of the Gunner’s Premier League matches this season.
Saliba missed Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Crystal Palace before the international break, after picking up the injury in the Europa League defeat to Sporting Lisbon
Arteta said at the time that they hoped the injury wasn't serious, but there has been no update since March 16.
Thomas Partey injury latest
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey was recently left out of Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola on Monday night.
Ghana boss Chris Hughton said that the midfielder has been struggling with a fitness issue, and did not play due to it being too big of a risk.
"Thomas has some small issues, a small injury issue and we felt it was too big of a risk to start him,” said Hughton.
It remains to be seen how serious the injury is and whether Partey will be back available to feature for Arsenal this weekend or later on.
Takehiro Tomiyasu injury latest
Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury.
The full-back suffered the injury in the Europa League clash against Sporting Lisbon earlier this month. Tomiyasu will require surgery on the injury, which has now ruled him out for the remainder of the season.
Benjamin White has been deployed at right-back for Arsenal this season, and now seems to be the likely option for the Gunners’ run-in.
Eddie Nketiah injury latest
Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has been suffering with an ankle injury in recent weeks.
It was reported in Football.London that the striker had picked up the injury before the Gunners’ Europa League second leg against Sporting Lisbon.
As a result, it’s been reported that Nketiah is expected to be on the sidelines until after the international break.
While an exact return date has not been named, Arsenal will be sweating over his availability for the trip to Liverpool on April 9.
Mohamed Elneny injury latest
Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
Elneny suffered the injury at the end of January, and will require surgery in order to recover.
The Egypt international, who is a team-mate of Mohamed Salah, picked up the injury during a training session and was soon ruled out for the remainder of Arsenal’s season.
