William and Kate have shared incredible behind the scene footage of the Coronation. The Prince and Princess of Wales posted a link to the five-minute clip with the caption: "The Coronation Weekend. A film by Will Warr."
The short film begins with a voiceover from a BBC presenter stating: "The flags are out, the scene is set for a weekend of splendour and celebration." Footage of the couple going on a walkabout to greet royalists camped out on the mall and a gathering at a reception with political leaders is then shown.
Then on the day of the Coronation, the inside of the family home decorated in regalia with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis can be seen. The Mirror reports that Charlotte beams as they walk out the entrance of Kensington Palace, and points to the state cars waiting to take them to Westminster Abbey.
Moving to the ceremony, a voiceover is played of William saying: "I, the Prince of Wales, pledge my loyalty to you, and faith and truth I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb, so help me God." The King, Queen and Wales' family are filmed waving as the crowds cheer a military procession that makes its way up the Mall
The day of the Coronation ends with footage showing working members of the royal family standing on Buckingham Palace's balcony while watching the flypast. Later, the clip shows William doing a rehearsal for his speech at the Coronation Concert, walking up on stage and facing the mic.
Kate is captured encouraging Louis as he pushes a wheelbarrow during a volunteering project at a scout hut. One particularly candid moment shows the beaming Princess skipping along with Charlotte and Louis while holding their hands.
The film ends with revellers waving flags and dancing along the Coronation Concert. William ends the speech by calling "God save the King", as the crowd erupts in cheers.
Royalists flocked to praise the clip and the Prince and Princess' social media strategy.
One person wrote: "The Kensington Palace staff has done a great job on the social media over the Coronation week. Thank you for sharing this to us. It was a very delightful moment to see all the royal family members."
Another said: "You folks have incredible content creators on your team! I hope this group is a part of the team that will be working on William's documentary. Well done!"
A third added: "Whoever is responsible for your new marketing strategy and social media: They are doing their job amazingly! Love the new aesthetics."
Videographer Will Warr, who previously filmed William and Kate playing with their children on a Norfolk beach to mark there 10th wedding anniversary captured the footage.
He wrote on Instagram: "An honour and a privilege to have been asked to capture behind the scenes at the King’s Coronation last weekend for @princeandprincessofwales. A rare and exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the celebrations and to be a part of this historic weekend."
