The Prince and Princess of Wales will have to "extend the hand of friendship" to Prince Harry if he attends the Coronation, a royal expert has claimed.
It is still unknown if Harry or his wife Meghan Markle will come to the UK for the Coronation of his father King Charles on May 6.
It has been reported that Harry and Meghan will definitely be receiving invitations for the spectacle - and plans are being put in place for them to attend.
One of them would reportedly see Harry attend the event alone and jet into the UK for the Coronation before swiftly going back to America in a plan dubbed "Harry in a hurry".
However, Harry's rift with his dad Charles and brother Prince William appears to have grown wider following the release of his memoir Spare last month.
In it, he made several claims about the royals, including that William physically attacked him during an argument.
And according to royal expert Camilla Tominey, if Harry does attend, it will be down to William and Kate to appear accommodating to him as Charles will be too busy.
Speaking on a video for The Telegraph, she said: "The royals have to look as though they are accommodating him into the royal fold, he gets enveloped into their security arrangements for the big bank holiday weekend so he can't complain that he hasn't got security.
"I think it will probably be beholden on the Prince and Princess of Wales to extend some sort of hand of friendship, which is going to be difficult, but it's the King's big weekend.
"He is going to be otherwise engaged in matters involving gold state coaches and crowns, his wife is also being crowned.
"Therefore, it is kind of left to William and Kate to kind of look as accommodating as they did when they did that joint walkabout after the Queen's death in September.... so we might see something else like that."
Meanwhile, another royal commentator has said Harry and Meghan attending the Coronation would "ruin it" for Charles.
Author Tom Bower said King Charles is a "weak man" who worries about Harry and suggested their attendance on May 6 could be too much for him.
Speaking to GB News, he claimed "people were "sick" of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and would prefer them to stay at home for the momentous occasion.
Mr Bower said: "His problem is that he is a weak man in a way and he's worried about Harry.
"If only he said to Harry, look, come to the Coronation, but you can have row Q, seat 54 and viewers partly obscured by a column, then the message will get through.
"But I think if he allows Harry to come to the Coronation, it is going to ruin the Coronation. It'll be overshadowed by Harry's presence and Meghan's too."
