Will Young says giving singers more control could revive the TV singing show

Will Young says a back-to-basics approach could revitalise TV singing shows (Aaron Chown/PA) -

Will Young, the first winner of Pop Idol, has said that giving singers more control over their song choices could make a talent show with a similar format successful in the modern day.
