For most of our Black Friday deal articles, we're asking whether there could be a discount on a certain streaming service. We don't need to ask that with Apple TV Plus though, because there already is.
Black Friday is a few weeks out, falling on Friday, November 29 this year, and it's set up to be the perfect time to sign up for Apple TV Plus. The streaming service is considered thanks to all the well-received Apple TV Plus Originals and prestige movies like Flowers of the Killer Moon and Napoleon which grace its library. It's seen some great Apple TV Plus shows in 2024 alone, but its relatively high price means some skip it.
While we don't yet know whether Apple itself will offer a discount on a TV Plus subscription (other than the Apple TV Plus free trials which run year-round), other retailers already have. Scroll down for more information, and we're constantly populating this list as more information comes out.

Will there be a Black Friday deal on Apple TV Plus subscriptions?
In previous Black Fridays, Apple hasn't offered a discounted membership price for new subscribers, so it seems unlikely that it'll do so in 2024. However that's not guaranteed, especially with a price hike earlier this year making a discounted subscription even more valuable.
That being said, there are ways to save money on Apple TV Plus that aren't just for Black Friday. Our favorite is Apple TV Plus free trials (click here for our full guide). These let you sign up for between a month and six months for free, if you're eligible for them.

One of the many ways to get a free trial for Apple TV Plus is simply by buying an Apple product.
People who buy an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or Mac (ie, any of the devices that you can use to watch an Apple show) are entitled to 3 free months of Apple TV Plus.
Thankfully, lots of these products do get plenty of Black Friday deals, so you can save money on tech you were going to buy anyway, and net some free Apple TV Plus time in one swoop.

What's the standard price for a subscription to Apple TV Plus?
Unlike many other streaming services, Apple doesn't offer an annual plan for you to sign up for, so there's only a monthly one.
You can sign up for Apple TV Plus for $9.99 / £8.99 per month, not including any of those trials we mentioned.
There's another part of the streamer called the Apple TV Plus MLS plan. This is basically only for streaming MLS and MLS-related content, and won't let you check out Apple's larger catalogue (though it does offer a discount for the standard plan). It costs $/£14.99 each month.
