Liverpool haven't had the start they would have hoped for in the new Premier League season as they sit in eighth place in the table.

Despite having only won two games in the league, Liverpool are only nine points adrift of Arsenal at the summit after six games played. The Reds have a game in hand against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

With the Premier League fixture schedule being heavily disrupted following recent postponements, the international break is now upon us and Liverpool will not be in action until Saturday, October 1 when they host Brighton.
