The Kansas City Chiefs may be without one of their top-performing wide receivers against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday after JuJu Smith-Schuster was listed as questionable with a hamstring issue on the defending champions’ final injury report on Friday.
JuJu Smith-Schuster injury update
Smith-Schuster was a limited participant in the Chiefs’ practice session on Friday and was officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII re-match against the 49ers.
When asked about Smith-Schuster during media availability on Friday, head coach Andy Reid said: “I think he’ll be fine,” which bodes well for the veteran receiver’s status moving forward.
How long will JuJu Smith-Schuster be out?
It is unclear if Smith-Schuster will miss any time due to this injury, but his status for Week 7 is officially questionable.
Chiefs WR depth chart
If Smith-Schuster needs to miss time, Kansas City will have to rely on Xavier Worthy, Justin Watson, Skyy Moore, and Mecole Hardman. The Chiefs are already without Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown and Rashee Rice, who are both on injured reserve.
