While funny man Will Ferrell has a storied career on the big screen and on television, he might have a career as an NFL broadcaster after his ManningCast appearance on Monday night.
As the Seattle Seahawks took on the New York Giants on the road, Ferrell hopped on to discuss his pal Pete Carroll’s team with Peyton and Eli Manning.
Well, his appearance went so well that Ferrell actually called a Geno Smith touchdown pass to DK Metcalf right before it happened.
That’s right, Ferrell read the play perfectly as it was unfolding and called exactly where Smith was going to put the ball in the end zone like a seasoned NFL veteran broadcaster. The Mannings were more than impressed.

Hey, that’s pretty darn impressive for Ferrell to call that in the moment.
While it’s certainly not as impressive an achievement as having many leather-bound books and having an apartment that smells of rich mahogany, this is still a pretty cool thing to see for the longtime actor and comedian.
Maybe Coach Carroll will find a job for Ferrell in Seattle?
