Will approach court to get MCD polls conducted on time, says Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal; AAP leader accuses Centre of hooliganism

NEW DELHI: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said in the assembly that his government will go to the court to get the MCD elections conducted on time.

"We will have to approach court to get MCD elections conducted on time and we will do it," said the Delhi CM in the house. He also accused the Centre of using force, hooliganism in not allowing the civic polls in the city.

Saying that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) doesn't fear the BJP, Kejriwal said: "All AAP volunteers, MLAs, ministers should be ready to go to jail".

"BJP is threatening to arrest Manish Sisodia, does he look like a thief? There are notices against AAP MLAs like Atishi, Amanatullah," said Arvind Kejriwal.
