Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson is enthused to join his new team.
The No. 3 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft took to Twitter Thursday night to express his excitement about joining the Texans.
“H-Town!” Anderson exclaimed. “I couldn’t be more ready to join the Texans family. It’s time to get to work,” along with a horns up emoji and #WeAreTexans written.
Anderson gives new coach DeMeco Ryans a dominant edge rusher similar to what he had with the San Francisco 49ers in defensive end Nick Bosa. The organization is hopeful the energy from the former Crimson Tide defender can help elevate the defense.
