Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha isn't happy with his FIFA 23 rating and has taken to social media to vent his frustration.
EA Sports finally revealed every FIFA 23 Ultimate Team rating on Wednesday, following the launch of the FIFA 23 FUT Web App. Previously, EA Sports had only revealed the top 23 highest-rated players in the game, with five players tied in joint-first place, plus the top 1000 via the official EA Sports FIFA website. But with FUT 23 now live, every single FIFA 23 Ultimate Team rating has been confirmed.
And it didn't take long for Palace striker Zaha to see his FIFA 23 rating, with the winger retaining the 82 overall rating that he had in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. But the Ivory Coast international clearly wasn't happy and took to social media.
"Me seeing my FIFA stats got worse, must have been playing golf all season then," Said Zaha on his personal Instagram account @wilfriedzaha.
But Zaha is only partially correct.
Because whilst his overall rating has remained the same and some attribute categories have been downgraded slightly, he's actually received a few upgrades. Compared to his FUT 22 item, Zaha's FUT 23 item has a higher pace (89-91), shooting (77-79), physical (75-76) and defending (34-37) rating, whilst his passing has remained the same at 73.
What do you make of Zaha's FUT 23 rating? And do you think the rating is fair? Let us know in the comments!
These upgrades seem fair, with Zaha scoring 14 goals and registering one assist in the Premier League last season. In fact, the only downgrade is his dribbling, which has been reduced by one, from 87 to 86.
In terms of his individual attributes, his acceleration, sprint speed, finishing, shot power, penalties, ball control, composure, aggression, stamina and more have all been upgraded compared to FUT 22.
Compared with other players from around the world on FUT 23, Zaha has the same rating as players like Christian Pulisic, Darwin Nunez, Bukayo Saka, Dani Olmo, Lucas Paqueta, Antony, Aurelien Tchouameni, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Raul Jimenez and Christian Eriksen.
FIFA 23 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30. Early access for FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition begins on September 27, 2022.
