Leeds United supporters have singled out Wilfried Gnonto as the star performer against Brighton, despite only coming onto the pitch to replace Crysencio Summerville in the 66th minute. The young Italian international has been a standout performer in an otherwise disappointing campaign for the Whites.
The Leeds United hierarchy had hoped to avoid a relegation battle this season following investment into the squad in the summer, but they're languishing in a relegation battle once again. Despite picking up a point against high flying Brighton, Javi Gracia's side dropped into the bottom three, with Bournemouth and Everton winning at the weekend.
Patrick Bamford cancelled out Alexis MacAllister's opener with Jack Harrison's own goal restoring Brighton's lead. The Whites winger produced a moment of magic to restore parity and gain a point.
