Wild Youth have parted ways with their choreographer Ian Banham.
The band, who will represent Ireland in Eurovision with their hit single 'We Are One', confirmed the news on Twitter earlier today. Wild Youth stated they stood for "unity and kindness" in their statement and said they had cut all ties with Ian.
Wild Youth also issued an apology in their Tweet for remarks allegedly made by Ian, who was criticised online for making statements about trans people, the war in Ukraine, Ukraine's victory in last year's Eurovision, and Covid-19. The choreographer has not responded publicly to the band's decision so far.

Wild Youth wrote: "Wild Youth is a band that stands for unity and kindness. Our song represents our beliefs as a band."
They added: "We have cut all ties with Ian Banham and will not have him on or near our team or Eurovision journey. We are so sorry for anyone offended by his comments."
Ian previously worked as a choreographer with RTE's Dancing With the Stars. He has also worked with famous acts including Westlife and Nathan Carter.
