Everyone’s favourite Love Island twist Casa Amor is back for more drama, snogs, game plans and potential re-coupling.
It’s been a firm fan-favourite aspect since the very beginning as it truly tests even the strongest couples.
After all, we have Casa Amor to thank for some truly iconic moments.
Like season six’s Shaughna Phillips and her epic line of “Congrats, hun” to Callum and Molly when they returned, or when in season five when Michael did a complete 180 on Amber and ditched her Joanna resulting in him branding her (the cheek of it) “chaldish”.
And let’s not forget Andrew Le Page ’s grovelling confession of “I licked her tit or whatever.”
And now, thanks to some sneaky ex-Islanders spilling the beans, we know some of the secrets from the ‘other Villa’.
The Entrance
If anyone was under the impression the walk into the villa was spontaneous, think again as it's been revealed it was rehearsed until they got it right.
Chyna Mills, 24, who is expecting her first baby with her Strictly Pro fiancé Neil Jones, 41, appeared on season eight of the show as a Casa Amor bombshell.
She said: “There were a few of us that kept on walking too fast, and we all had to make sure we were in sync.
"At one point, it was like, 'Right, guys, you need to be quiet while we're doing this walk because the boys are still sleeping'.
"So we were trotting along in our heels, and you had to walk straight up to the door, and then they were like, 'Right, no, can you do it again'. I think we did it about ten to 15 times."
Chyna’s fellow bombshell, Coco Lodge riled up fans when she and Andrew Le Page got steamy under the covers while when he was coupled up with fan-fave Tasha Ghouri.
How much time they get to spend together
She spilled: "The one thing that people don't realise about Casa Amor is the time like with the boys is really separated.
"So, you do about probably five, six hours of filming a day, the rest of the time, it's just chilling.
"We're separated from the boys for long periods of time, so our time to graft is like really, really small.
“Which is why when we're kissing them straight away, it looks a bit desperate but actually like, we have to get in there, because otherwise, we won't make it back."
Secret communication
"We write messages to each other on the phone, like hide it under the duvet so [the producers] can't see," Coca explained.
"With the boys I think they did it before the Casa Amor recoupling to tell each other who they're picking, so it wasn’t so secret, so the boys knew who to have their back."
She also discussed what happens off-camera when the girls are waiting to film their stint in Casa Amor.
"Us girls would just sit there staring at the boys working out in the gym, just talking about our dogs, Mollie would be saving bugs from the pool," she continued.
"We'd have loads of fun and it just made our friendships stronger, and we also had like a 24-hour break before the Casa Amor recoupling just to get into the boys' head a bit, so have them thinking about whether we are the better option than all their girls.
"I think there was maybe an hour of filming just when you get the text."
Doing your homework
Sharon Gaffka, who appeared in season seven, also revealed that the bombshells are well aware of who they want to meet.
Answering a viewer question about Casa Amor on Twitter, she replied: “They make all the bombshells etc watch the show, that’s why everyone asks for their top 3 because they have to give it to the producers.”
Dress rehearsal
And according to Amy Day, a bombshell from season seven, there’s even a pre-recoupling before the main one that we see on the show.
Speaking to OK! Magazine she revealed those in Casa Amor have their own mini-recoupling in order to give the contestants time to pack.
She said: “It was a real shock because the whole time you don’t know where any of the boys’ heads are at and nothing is guaranteed.”
How much do the bombshells really get paid?
Season eight star Jay Younger revealed exactly how much it's worth to go into the villa.
Jay said, "Once they [producers] send through the contract, I think they pay you like £375 a week. It’s very low; it’s like minimum wage.
"£375 a week and they’ll pay for any ad hoc advertisements you do. So like, you might be holding a bottle and they might pay you a fee for that. I can’t remember what that was.
"They’ll pay you if you’re wearing certain sponsored clothes – if they see you on camera with that.
"But it’s not about the money, it’s about the exposure it’s meant to give you after. "
